Trump Exonerated

The President was totally exonerated yesterday during the Mueller hearings. What the Democrats tried to do blew up in their faces. Mueller didn’t even write the report and it turns out that Weissmann, his pit bull, was pretty much running the show during the investigation. Mueller was simply being used in an attempt to bring down a lawfully elected President in a soft coup. Mueller revealed in his testimony that he didn’t even know about a lot of the information that was in the report. Did he even bother to read it? Now Attorney General Barr can move on with his investigation of the investigators and hopefully bring to justice the ones who are truly guilty. Hopefully people were listening and can now know that President Trump truly has a heart for the country.

Supreme Court Victories

The Supreme Court has handed Christians several victories, thanks to Liberty Counsel and organizations like them. A huge case involved a California law which forced pro-life crisis pregnancy centers to promote abortion. The high court ruled in our favor and that horrific law is now gone. In addition the California Attorney General was hit with a stiff fine. Two more cases which challenged laws banning any counsel for unwanted same-sex attractions, behavior, or gender confusion saw victory and those laws have been overturned. Thanks be to President Trump for keeping his promise to protect our religious freedoms. This is why it is vital for all Christians to get out and vote in 2020 to keep him in office for another four years. If he can remain in the White House, there is the potential for another 1 – 3 justices to be nominated for the Supreme Court. This is vital if we are to remain a free nation.

President Trump is the First

President Trump is the first sitting president to step foot inside North Korea. Will he be successful in negotiations with the Korean dictator? Time will tell but some are hopeful. Trump isn’t one to give up and I’m sure he will keep persisting until he gets what he wants – the full denuclearization of North Korea. Once that is accomplished the decades long war will most probably end and the reunification of the peninsula no doubt will follow.

A Poke in God’s Eye

Recently the mayor of Sioux Falls declared June LBGT month. I don’t know about you but to me this is like slapping God in the face. To give a month to someone or a group is paying a high honor to them. We are now living in the times the Bible said “Evil would be declared good evil.” As Christians we can no longer be silent and allow the Name of God to be scorned and reviled. If the church doesn’t step up and begin teaching the truth there will be a penalty to pay and that is God’s wrath. Romans 1 makes it very clear what God thinks of the practice of homosexuality and any other sexual sin for that matter. In other places the Bible states that homosexuals will not enter the Kingdom of Heaven. If we love homosexuals then we need to stand up for the truth and lovingly share it with them. They need to know that their life style is destructive. Statistics show that they live a far shorter live and are prone to many diseases such as AIDS. It is time to step up and bring glory to God. We need to declare June and every month of the year Glory to Jesus month.

The Heartbeat Law

It can be discouraging to hear in the news that states like New York and Illinois are passing bills allowing babies to be killed even after they are born. One may wonder where God is in all of this. But God is on the move to counter what the devil is doing. Christians are praying and our Heavenly Father is hearing. Ohio passed a heartbeat bill which prohibits the abortion of a baby once its heartbeat can be detected. Since then seven other states have copied this law and many others are taking a serious look at it. The two people in Ohio who began this say they are going to states like New York and California to try and introduce similar bills there. The good news is that 70 percent of Americans are for the heartbeat bill. This means that we could see this spread to all 50 states. As Christians we need to continue to pray for revival and for this nation to be taken back from the enemy.

What’s New?

The Christian life is the most exciting, fulfilling life a person can have. Those who haven’t yet given their lives to Christ don’t know what they are missing. For example they probably aren’t aware that the events happening in the world today are all pointing to the soon return of Jesus Christ. An important event took place last year when President Trump confirmed Jerusalem as the capitol of Israel. When the embassy was moved to that city and commemorated it took place exactly during the 50 year jubilee of Israel. Since Israel became a nation thousands of years ago it has celebrated this jubilee – It shall be a jubilee for you (Leviticus 25:1–4, 8–10, NASB). The Talmud states that the people of Israel counted 17 Jubilees from the time they entered the Land of Canaan until their exile at the destruction of the First Temple.

A word from Franklin Graham

Christianity Is Defined by God’s Word—Not Man’s

Dear Friend,

I just completed preaching the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ on the seven-city Decision America Northeast Tour.

We live in a culture that makes light of sin—we continue to see and hear this from many entertainers, athletes, and politicians. It is truly a battle for the soul of our nation, and believers need to pray for our country. The hope for America doesn’t lie in politics, but in God. Rather than turn our back on Him, we need to look to Him for answers to the problems our nation faces.

Christianity is defined by God’s Word—not man’s. For 2,000 years the church has taken its instructions from the Bible. The Bible doesn’t contain God’s Word—the Bible is God’s Word.

We live in days where truth is rejected by many people. With the time God leaves me here, I am passionately committed to speaking God’s Word and showing the love of Christ every opportunity I have.
